Heritage House as it stands today, nearly complete beneath a bright Ugandan sky

Our active project

Heritage House

A Safe Home. Room to Grow.

Our children currently live together in a small, overcrowded home. Heritage House will provide a safe, spacious home designed to care for up to 100 children.

Help Finish Heritage House

Why Heritage House

A Home Designed for Their Future

Our current home was never designed for the number of children now in our care. The children live in close quarters, with all of the boys sharing one room and all of the girls sharing another. The limited space can become extremely hot, illness can spread more easily, and providing the safety and security every child deserves has become increasingly difficult.

Heritage House was built to provide something better.

With space for up to 100 children, Heritage House will allow children to live in rooms according to their age groups while providing more space for everyday life and a safer, healthier environment where they can grow, learn, rest, and be cared for.

The final steps

What Stands Between Us and Moving In

Heritage House itself is largely complete. A few critical pieces now stand between construction and welcoming the children home.

  1. 1

    Secure the Property

Construct a chain-link security fence with barbed wire around Heritage House. Securing the property is essential before solar equipment can safely be installed.

  2. 2

    Provide Water

Deepen the community well along our boundary and pipe water into Heritage House—strengthening the water source while continuing to serve the surrounding community.

  3. 3

    Install Power

Once the property is secured, install solar panels and connect electricity throughout Heritage House.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Home

With water, security, and electricity in place, move furniture and the remaining necessities into the home.

  5. 5

    Welcome the Children Home

Then comes the moment we have been working toward: opening the doors and moving the children into Heritage House.

Our Hope: Home by February 2027

With the remaining funding in place, our goal is to complete these final steps and move the children into Heritage House by February 2027.
